Ready, Set, Learn

Ready, Set, Learn (RSL) is an early learning program which welcomes three-year-olds and their families to the school system.  Schools throughout the Chilliwack School District will host Open house events from January to June 2012.  Families and their three-year-olds who attend will have an opportunity to begin positive connections with the school system and to learn more about programs and services available in their local school and throughout the community.  Families will receive helpful information about how to prepare their children for school, information about typical development of a preschooler and tips for supporting their child’s learning in key areas of development.  Host schools also provide additional resources to help influence school readiness.

Ready, Set, Learn events can include school tours, visits to the school library, interactive play activities for children and their parents, information sessions for parents and caregivers, presentations by community agencies and other activities that support preschool aged children’s learning.
