Registration for the 2027/2028 School Year Opens December 1

Online registration for the 2027/2028 school year will open on December 1, 2026. This is a temporary change while the district upgrades its online registration system in the fall. Moving to a new registration system is part of a larger project to improve student records management across the district.

The registration date of December 1, 2026 will not impact any other timelines related to registration.

Online registration is particularly relevant to students entering kindergarten, students applying to attend an out-of-catchment school, those applying for the French Immersion program, and those who are new to our District. 

As per Administrative Procedure 337, most families of in-catchment students can anticipate placement in their catchment school. In 2027, principals will connect with any out-of-catchment registrants between May and September as per our usual practice.

Online registration will open on October 1 in 2027.
