 | Chilliwack School District Accessibility Plan The Chilliwack School District Accessibility Advisory Committee provides guidance on the development, implementation and review of the district’s Accessibility Plan. The Committee follows the Accessible British Columbia Act and the principle “Nothing about us, without us". It ensures the school district is accessible and welcoming. It also helps build an inclusive school system. The Accessibility Plan is a green document, which means we invite your feedback to improve the plan. Champions for Accessibility Awards 2026
Over 30 staff were nominated for the Champion for Accessibility Award in 2026. Congratulations to all nominees. The Accessibility Advisory Committee selected school counsellor Cathy Preibisch as this year's champion. Fellow finalists include Rochelle Ivany (Chilliwack Middle School), Alexandrea Desilets (Indigenous Education, Imagine High), Karla Buxton (Rosedale Traditional Community School) and Sharon Bernard (Vedder Middle School).
